I had a great time at the hotel, especially enjoying the clean and comfortable room, the delicious breakfast with pancakes and eggs, and the fun pool area that's perfect for families!

Emily was fantastic and decorated our room for my partner’s birthday! Wi-Fi was slow.

Fantastic Service and Great Location

I had a wonderful stay with my family in a spacious and comfortable suite that was perfect for our needs. The staff's exceptional service made us feel very welcome, especially during breakfast where they provided a friendly atmosphere with engaging conversations. The hotel's location next to Walmart and just a quick drive to the beach was incredibly convenient for our beach outings. The only downside was that the pool was advertised as heated, but it felt quite cold during our visit.

The hotel’s decor was bright and welcoming, especially the lobby area which exuded a fresh, modern vibe. The easy access to elevators made it convenient for seniors like me, ensuring comfort throughout our stay.

More seating in common areas would be appreciated.

Checking into the Holiday Inn Express felt welcoming right from the start. The staff members were kind and accommodating, making early check-in a breeze. My room stood out for its spacious layout and comfort. I loved the large bathroom and the beds were incredibly soft, leading to a relaxing night’s sleep without the usual travel aches. Breakfast offered a great variety every morning. The convenience of being close to Walmart made it easy to grab necessities. However, the noise from other guests slamming doors throughout the night disrupted sleep. The funny odor in the pool area and the hot tub added to my concerns. The overall cleanliness in some areas could use a bit more attention, and the costs felt a bit steep for the average room despite the good service.

Had a nice stay with my family for 2 nights where the room was spacious and the beds were super comfy. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and relaxing on the sun terrace. However, the WiFi was spotty during our visit, but it didn’t ruin our time. 😃

Upon arrival, the room carried a strong chemical smell that lingered, which was unsettling after a 20-hour journey. The hot tub area had a peculiar odor as well, and while the pool looked inviting, the water appeared cloudy, making us hesitant to use it. Additionally, we found a live roach in the room while packing, which was disappointing and made us question cleanliness. The breakfast setup lacked adequate seating, leading to a crowded experience that detracted from the enjoyment of the meal.

So the staff really made our stay lovely. Miranda at the front desk was super friendly and squared away our wedding group while Emily decorated our room for my partner's birthday, it was all very touching and kind of made my day.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.
